This is an oldie but a goodie. We recently had a visitor give a talk in the department and the entire talk was in comic sans. Ack! Comic sans has no place in astronomy (or most anywhere). So I thought I would remind the world about the campaign to remove comic sans from society. Go visit the Ban Comic Sans website and begin your education. Be sure to check out the pictures. I have yet to actually print out the stickers and use them, but I have been quite tempted. Let's all do our part.
I work next to one of those comic sans heavy users. I agree with you that they should come to senses, but I can attest to the fact that they are committed users, they fiercely defend their choice... I don't get it.
